Q. What is Mircodermabrasion?
A. Microdermabrasion skin resurfacing is performed with special hand piece that sprays tiny crystals across you facial skin for gentle abrasion and polishing. The crystals remove lifeless, sun damaged, dead and flaking skin cells to uncover your silky new skin just below the surface. At the same time we polish and resurface your skin, the hand piece gently vacuums away the crystals and dead skin. We carefully exfoliate and rejuvenate your skin to reduce wrinkles and correct pigmentation and other fine imperfections. This popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure also stimulates the production of fresh skin cells and collagen for softer, more supple skin.

Q. What does a Microdermabrasion treatment feel like?
A. Because the procedure is a noninvasive and does not wound your skin’s surface, there is virtually no discomfort during or after treatment. You may feel a slight stinging sensation during the treatment; however, anesthesia is not necessary. After treatment, we clean your skin to remove and remaining crystals. Then after drying, we will apply a special healing moisturizer.
Q. How soon will I see results?
A. If you are like most clients, after your first treatment your skin will have a soft pink, healthy glow. The benefits increase as your treatment plan progresses until your skin has a sleek, even texture.
Q. Will I need more than one Microdermabrasion treatment?
A. The condition of the skin will determine how many Microdermabrasion treatments may be recommended. In some cases, four to six treatments performed every two weeks may be suggested for optimal results. In many instances, individuals opt for subsequent Microdermabrasion treatments because of the way the skin feels and looks for days afterwards.
